The Nasarawa State FA has praised the entire Nasarawa Amazons team for a well deserved victory over Edo Queens in Ayingba.
The win did not only cement the Lafia Landladies as one of the leading clubs in the country but how successful the team’s campaign in 2024/2025 season.
“You Ladies have shown resilience in coming this far and we at the NSFA cannot but congratulate you people on your recent victory over a very solid Edo Queens”.
“Despite coming second in the regular NWFL season, you ladies threw away the disappointment by beating a well drilled side thereby showing the world that you are a beacon of light in Nasarawa State”.

Goals from second half substitutes Ayatsea Hembafan and Bibianna Odoh in the 71st and 88th minute confirmed Nasarawa Amazons place in the final.
