Organisers of the inaugural edition of the NPFL Youth League have expressed satisfaction over the quality of play and discipline displayed by the young lads.
These assertions were made by the chairman of the NPFL Under 17 Youth League, Pastor Emeka Inyama , in a telephone chart with sportsdiditv.
The former Abia Warriors Chairman, who described the youth teams as champions of tomorrow, said the purpose of the league has been achieved.
He revealed that the Youth League will not only form the bedrock for the selection of the national under 17 team, but it will help the Nigerian Premier League clubs to have a solid structure for youth football development noting that the youth League will be a licensing requirement for the elite League seasonal registration for players as this has come to stay.
The football administrator, speaking with enthusiasm, said already people have started calling from all over the world to join and watch the live streaming, particularly mentioning Bayern Munich football club of Germany.
He thanked the Edo state government for partnering with the NPFL to host this edition.
