The management of Gwagwalada based Attah Kadiri Football Club in a recent engagement handed the club’s regalia to the supremo of Nigeria National League side, Nasarawa United.
In a brief ceremony held at the Lafia City Stadium, Barrister Attah Jimmy presented the Souvenirs shortly before the match against Nasarawa United.
“It is part of our custom to pay homage wherever we go as a team and today we come to you as your children to show our respect to you”.
“We are a young team with great potentials and dreams as we as a club are here to give opportunities young players who dream to play at the highest level so on behalf of the team, we present to you our identity, Barr. Kadiri Jimmy, President AJ FC presented”.
In his response and address to the players, Chairman, Nasarawa United, Prof Ibrahim Othman thanked the leadership of AJ FC while he also extolled them for the great work they have been doing to build a brand that is now the envy of many both within and outside Abuja.
“Thank you for this presents, be rest assured that I will keep them close to me”.
“I love what your team is doing, it shows that you all know what you are doing and trust me, it will be energy sapping but the reward will surely come”.
He rounded up by thanking the team for embarking on the journey from Gwagwalada to Lafia just to honor a game with the Solid Miners.
AJ FC despite impressing and winning the hearts of many at the Lafia City Stadium lost by 3 goals to 1 as the tournament of Nasarawa State continues.
