Rivers Angels Head Coach, Tosan Bob Blankson, has assured that his team is well-prepared and ready for the new season.
In an interview with Rivers Angels media, Blankson expressed confidence in his team’s abilities, citing their rigorous five-month training period. “We’ve been training for over five months, so we’re ready to go. We’re just waiting for kickoff, starting with Wednesday’s match against Ibom Angels.”
Blankson emphasized the importance of mental toughness and teamwork. “Football is a universal game; what matters is our strength and mentality.”
Acknowledging Rivers Angels’ rich history and high standards, Blankson said, “I’m aware of the club’s pedigree and winning tradition. My target is to qualify for the Super Six, and then we’ll take it from there.”
Assuring fans of an exciting season, Blankson promised, “The girls will play good football, score goals, and deliver wins. They already have a winning mentality.”
Rivers Angels host Ibom Angels at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Wednesday at 4 pm.
