The Rivers State Teqball team has assured of its readiness to bring trophies to the state.
The team is currently preparing for the National Teqball Championship slated for Bayelsa state in April.
The Chairman Rivers State Teqball Association, Barr. Wuwu Gomba has assured the team of every necessary support to ensure they emerge victorious.
Meanwhile, the state Vice Chairman, Mr. Halim Zaccah Adebola says the association will ensure that the game of Teqball is used to engage and empower several youths across Rivers state.
The National Teqball Championship will take place in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, from April 24th to 27th, 2024.
Teqball is a football-based sport, played on a specially-curved table, which is attracting a new generation of athletes and amateur enthusiasts.
