-Nasarawa United defender Victor Collins has expressed his joy and excitement after receiving his first call-up to the Super Eagles squad.
The strong and hard tackling left footed defender was named in the 23-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda this month The Enugu-born defender, who has been impressive for Nasarawa United in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) this season, expressed his feelings and excitement after receiving his first call-up to the Nigeria Male senior National team.

” he concluded Victor, has been ever-present for Nasarawa United, featured in all eight straight games this season, and has been solid in holding the defence line, as one of the standout performer in the team.
He has only missed two games since the start of the season, after rejoining the solid miners during the summer transfer window from Remo Stars.
Victor’ inclusion in the Super Eagles squad is a testament to his hard work and dedication. He has been one of the standout performers in the NPFL this season, and his impressive displays have not gone unnoticed by the Super Eagles coaching staff.
