Nigerian Teqball sensation, Victor Oyemade, is set to face off against world number 25, Lionel Beyer of France, for a place in the quarterfinals of the Men’s Singles Category of the Teqball World Series Quy Nhon.
The Nigerian qualified for the round of 16 of the Men’s Singles with a second-place finish behind Teqball no. 1 in the Men’s Singles category Apor GYORGYDEAK at the ongoing Teqball World Series in Quy Nhon Vietnam with 2 wins and a loss.
He defeated Abdulwahab ALQATTAN and Matyas ODNOGA in his 1st 2 games 2 – 0 (12 – 9, 12 – 10) and 2 – 0 (12 – 3, 12 – 5) respectively before losing to Apor GYORGYDEAK 0 – 2 (4 – 12, 8 – 12).
Victor Oyemade, who has been making waves in the Teqball circuit with his impressive skills and techniques, will be looking to upset the higher-ranked Beyer and secure a spot in the semifinals.
The Nigerian Teqball Federation has expressed its support for Oyemade, urging him to make the country proud.
