As part of her own way of encouraging young arbiters of the game of football, Mz Obile Felicia gave some upcoming referees in the state some materials just to encourage them in the pursuit of excellence in the refereeing world.
Led by the Nasarawa State Referees Council Chairman, Mallam Mohammed Isah In a very brief ceremony held at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday, FIFA Obile Felicia admonished the beneficiaries to remain steadfast and continue to work hard and hardwork pay.
While speaking to the media, Felicia Obile said the motive behind this gesture is to make sure that most of the kids do not lack the necessary tools needed to professional referee.
“Yes, I had promised this young ones that I will provide those that passes their exams with some refereeing materials to reward excellence”.
“It is not only restricted to Lafia alone but would extend to other branches of the state, Felicia who is also the Secretary Golf Association of Nasarawa State stated.
Mallam Mohammed Isah in his appreciation thanked FIFA Felicia Obile for the kind gesture as he believes that this move will further boost the morale of the young referees.
