In its effort to have a balanced squad to help it challenge favorably on all fronts in the 2024/2025 football season, the management of reigning NPFL champions, Rangers International FC, has succeeded in luring to its rich assemblage, the services of defensive midfielder, Pius Chinemerem Igwe.
The box-to-box midfielder who can also slot in effortlessly in the heart of the defense joins the ‘Flying Antelopes’ from neighbors and NNL side, Coal City United of Enugu where he distinguished himself in their challenge for a promotion ticket last season.
After putting pen to paper for the NPFL Champions, Igwe said, “I am glad to have been able to convince the coaches of this great club for this opportunity and I will keep doing my best in every game to ensure that we come out tops in every competition we are taking part. It’s a dream come true for me and I cherish it.”
