NSF24: “Nasarawa State Ministry Of Youth And Sports Development Will Have Enough At Their Disposal To Prepare Well”, – Mohammed Isimbabi

The Chairman House Committee On Sports in Nasarawa State has revealed that the State’s athletes will be better cater for as the state prepares for medal haul at the next National Sports Festival slatted to take place later this year in Ogun state.

Alhaji Mohammed Isimbabi made this known in far away Abidjan when he was responding to an interview with Canadian based journalist, Adewale Ajayi.

“His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has done tremendously well in the aspect of sports development in Nasarawa State”.

“We were in Asaba were we came out victorious in some numbers of sports our athletes participated in and as a law maker, we made sure that ahead of the next National Sports Festival during budget defense of 2024 enough funds was captured so that the ministry of youth and sports would have enough resources at their disposal to prepare adequately for the forthcoming edition”.

“I have no doubt in my mind that with the caliber of person running the ministry (The Commissioner and the Perm Sec), I believe we will do very in Ogun state, he concluded”.

At the Asaba games in 2022, Nasarawa State finished 28th on the final table after amassing a total of 7 silvers and 13 bronzes as they will fancy their chances of finishing higher in Ogun state.

Mohammed Isimbabi is part of the special delegates from Nasarawa State who are in Abidjan to show their support to the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they confront the Elephants of CΓ΄te D’Ivoire in the final of the Afcon23.
