The Team manager of Lafia based NNL side, FC Basira Edward Dimas has hailed Usman Salisu Galadima for creating an atmosphere which gives the average youth in Nasarawa State the avenue to dream again.
In a reaction after his side defeated Yobe Desert Stars 1-0 at the Lafia City Stadium, Edward Dimas said despite the victory there is more to come from the players.
“Seriously, I thank God Almighty for this opportunity I really appreciate God for this match today, We won 1-0 today which is not an easy task to carry out”.
“As the Team Manager of FC Basira, we are trying our best to make sure we do the right thing and we appreciate God Almighty for today’s victory”.
“If we can see Nasarawa today he continued, the atmosphere has really changed. Everyone is happy for this team. We are very glad and happy for Salisu Usman Galadima for giving our youth the opportunity to pursue their dreams and now our youths can aspire to dream again, in this I am very happy, he concluded”.
Chigozie Ani’s solitary strike in the first half was all FC Basira needed to seal an historic win against their more experienced opponents.
