The founding General Secretary of Nigeria Teqball Federation (NIGTEQ) Mr. Ndudi Emmanuel Edede moved up the hierarchy as the Federation’s Vice President, passing the chain of command to Mr. Olalekan Faseesin as the new General Secretary.
This was announced by the President Engr. Habu Gumel during the Federation’s Executive Board meeting held on Saturday 24th February 2024 at the ANOCA Secretariat.
During his tenure as the General Secretary, Nigeria Teqball recorded stupendous achievements which include but are not limited to Recognition by the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ), the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria, the Nigeria Olympic Committee, the Federal Ministry of Sports Development in 2023 and as well Constitution of effective and efficient Executive Board at State and National levels.
The decision to elevate Mr. Ndudi to the Vice President position following the nomination of Mr. Olalekan Faseesin by the Federal Ministry of Sports Development was supported by all the Board Members present during the meeting.
Members in turn felicitated the new appointees and expressed their confidence in the growth and development of Teqball through the new leadership roles.
The board also approved the 2024 calendar of the Federation presented by the Secretariat, which they believe will skyrocket the development of Teqball in Nigeria and Africa.
Mr. Ndudi in his remark, applauded the commitment of the Executive Board and the Secretariat; stating that all the achievements wouldn’t have been possible without their immense support.
He further admonished for total dedication, moral, and social support to the new General Secretary for a smooth journey to greater heights in the Nigeria Teqball and beyond.
