Nasarawa State FA Cup: Si14 FC Chairman Dedicates Victory To Club CEO

Chairman of Keffi based Si14 FC, Usman Ibrahim ‘Oguns’ has dedicated his team’s victory over City Rollers FC to the Chief Executive Officer of the club.

John Sule was on hand to save two spot kicks to seal Si14 FC passage to the next round after the game had ended one all at regulation time.

In a brief interview after Si14 FC booked their semi final place, Usman Ibrahim admitted that his team did not play to its full potential but the support of his CEO played an important role in the teams victory.

“I am grateful to Almighty Allah for the win over our friends and rivals from Nasarawa LGA. It was a hard-fought game and both sides gave their best”.

“The result manifested in a 1-1 all draw, we won on penalties. We appreciate our CEO Sunusi Ibrahim for his support as we dedicate this victory to him”.On the strength of his side, Oguns as he is fondly called, believes that his team still has a whole lot to offer once he has the full compliments of his players.

“We recruited some new players as the old one couldn’t meet up with our expectations so we rescreened and employed new players who didn’t meet up with the registration deadline of the President Federation Cup. We’ve decided to make do with the available players, Coaches, management and God didn’t disappoint us”

.Usman Ibrahim rounded up by assuring all SI14 FC supporters that his side will be stronger during the NLO competitions slatted to begin in a couple of months from now and his boys will not laylow when they take on Nasarawa United in the semi finals of the Nasarawa State FA Cup.
