In a bid to strengthen the ties between Benue and Nasarawa State, Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima has presented Barr. Paul Edeh, the Benue State FA Chairman with the Nasarawa State FA regalia.
In a brief ceremony witnessed at the Lafia City Stadium, the venue of the 2024 NPFL U17 Youth League, Salisu Usman Galadima says gestures like this help to strengthen the ties between states.
The Nasarawa State Football Association where the host FA as Nasarawa State hosted the North Central zone of the Npfl U17 Youth League.
The quartet of Plateau United, Lobi Stars, Kwara United and Niger Tornadoes were drafted to play in Lafia as Plateau United picked the single slot allocated to the zone after they defeated Kwara United in their last group game.
In his words, “We will continue to work with all interested parties to make sure that football in Nasarawa State is seen and appreciated by all both within and outside the country, he concluded”.
