Heartland FC rounded off their preparation for the Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 28 tie with Bayelsa United on Tuesday evening at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
The Naze Millionaires are seeking a return to winning ways after two consecutive losses to Rivers United and Enugu Rangers and the players that made the trip to Yenagoa went through the final warm-up session with enthusiasm and the believe that they could get a positive result on Wednesday.
The first leg ended 2-2 with Bayelsa United needing just three minutes to erase Heartland FC two goal lead but the Naze Millionaires skipper, Nnaemeka Anyanwu is optimistic that the Owerri side will get the job done in Yenagoa.
He called on his teammates to rise up to the occasion and strive to begin a string of positive results that would be enough to change the club’s fortunes on the league table.
Some notable key players are missing but the Christian Obi-led side has a squad that can surprise their hosts on a good day if everything goes according to plan.
