Nasarawa State Government under the leadership of Engr. Abdullahi Sule have graciously announced the cash gift of ₦75m to the athletes that represented the state in the just concluded sporting season.
Applauding the performances of the Nasarawa Amazons for coming second in both the NWFL and the President Federation Cup, His Exellencey said the team showed promise and he believes with time they’ll coast home the trophies.
For that reason, the State Government awarded Nasarawa Amazons the sum of ₦30m with ₦25m to the players while ₦5m will be for the Coaches.
For Nasarawa United, the players got the sum of ₦20m while the technical team will handed the sum of ₦5m.
The Festival team of the state were blessed with ₦10m while both the Nasarawa United Feeders and Supporters club got ₦5m each.
The Executive Governor however said he will be making some personal donations to individual players of both teams just to show his special appreciations for putting the state’s name on the global map of football.
