FC Basira duo of Timothy Sule and Usman Usman have been called up to the Super Eagles CHAN team camp ahead of the qualifiers against Ghana.
The duo played an important role as FC Basira qualified to the second tier of the Nigeria league.
Usman Usman, an enterprising winger who can also play as a forward was one of the revelations of the tournament as FC Basira picked an NNL spot in Abuja.
Both Usman Usman and deep playing midfielder Timothy Sule played key roles as FC Basira won the NLO Afriskaut Cup when they defeated First Bank FC of Lagos in the final.
Both players are exciting to see when on the ball as they have all the set skills to stake a claim in the National team.
Both became the first players in the history of the club to get Super Eagles call up while playing with the Lafia based side.
Nigeria will face the Black Stars of Ghana in the first leg of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers between 20th and 22nd of December before the return leg is played a week later with the winner over both legs getting the sole ticket to partake in the championship proper.
