Nasarawa State FA Chairman, Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima has congratulated the entire nation as Nigeria sailed through the huddle of the indomitable lions of Cameroon.
While reacting to the victory over Cameroon at his country home in Lafia, the man who had seen the first three games of the national team live in Abidjan congratulated the Nigerian players for showing the never say die attitude to defeat Cameroon and then proceed to the Quarter Finals of the Afcon.
“I want to particularly extend my profound congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria for marking us proud by defeating Cameroon”.
‘It was never in doubt that we are one of the few teams tipped to win the championship and this victory is a testament to the fact that we are not in Côte D’Ivoire to add up the numbers”.
“We will continue to support our darling team till they bring home the trophy, he revealed”.
Two goals in either halves of the game through Ademola Lookman, ensured that Nigeria made it to the quarter finals as we will battle the palanga nagras of Angola for a slot in the semi finals on Friday.
