“The Return Of Nasarawa United To The Elite League Will Boost The Economy Revenue Of The State”, – Blessing David

Nasarawa State FA scribe, Mzz Blessing David has revealed that the return of Nasarawa United to the apex league means an inflow of revenue to the state as more people will visit Lafia for football purposes.

Blessing David made this known when speaking with the members of the press at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium In Enugu shortly after Nasarawa United sealed its return to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

”This is more like my happiest day and a dream come through seeing my darling team back to where it belongs”.

“The day the team got relegated it was as if football was dead in Nasarawa State, I felt so heartbroken”.

“It is a thing of joy for one to see his team return to the apex league just after a season in the second division, we are grateful to God”.

“Nasarawa State will see more footballing activities with more people will troop into the state which in turn will bring in more revenue to the state government”.

On hosting the NPFL, NNL, NWFL and the NLO, Blessing David said it is never a new thing for her as it is a welcome development.

“I have been in that position before as the assistant secretary of the association when we had the likes of Nasarawa United, Nasarawa Amazons, Aklosendi Int’l FC, AYD Doma and FC Basira, it was always a beehive of activities from day to day and now as the FA Secretary, we will continue to do more work, leaving no space, she concluded”.
