Nasarawa State FA Chairman Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima has said his administration will continue to push indigenous players who are willing to play football.
Salisu Usman Galadima who was in Doma LGA of Nasarawa State to honour the Sallah match between Doma Selected and FC Basira was however grateful to Usman Aliyu Adeka (Doma LG FA Chairman) for hosting the game in his honor.
“Just as you know, we are in a festive period and the motive of this tournament is to promote unity through this game”.
“We have loads of young boys who have left Doma to become super stars in the world of football”.
It is a good thing that FC Basira lost by four goals, it will further help the team to prepare well at the forthcoming NLO”.
“I am indeed grateful to Doma LG FA Chairman, Usman Aliyu Adeka for hosting this event in my name and I’ll finally advice you all to work tirelessly to make sure you make it and as the FA Chairman I will continue support any player in all aspect as far as he is willing to go far in football, he rounded up”.
A brace from both Ibrahim Sulieman and Ikechuckwu Nnam made sure that Ayobami Akomolade’s strike was nothing but a consolatory goal.
Special Guest Mr Joseph Attah Oboshi Rtd, handed both sides the sum of 50,000 naira each.
