The Parish Priest in charge of Saint Mathias catholic Church, Selagi in Konshisha Local Government and Spiritual Director of Lobi Stars Football Club, Rev Fr Emmanuel Asue, on Monday, February 12, declared that Lobi Stars will achieve their ambition as they return to the battlefield to complete the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The club rededication which was held at McCarthy Stadium, Makurdi had management, staff, and players led by the Club Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dominic Iorfa in attendance.

In his exhortation, Rev Fr Asue who quoted Romans chapter 5:6-12 said if God does not build, the builders build but in vain, adding that it is not by human power but by the power of God that the club is presently sitting atop the NPFL table.

He consecrated the vehicles donated by the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr Dr Hyacinth Alia, and prayed against injuries and untimely deaths, beseeching God to complete the work He has started with the club by granting it a continental ticket.
